Using our advanced digital vision™ technology cameras, SafeSpace™ monitors each senior’s room with an ultra-high-resolution RGB sensor equipped with night vision. These wide-angle Digital Vision™ sensors are suspended from the ceiling to provide a clear view of  the areas where the senior may fall. They operate both during the day and at night with high-resolution day and night vision, privately and continually monitoring the senior’s space ready to alert staff when a fall is detected.

Then Our Privacy AI Monitors the Digital Vision™ Streams

The privacy Digital Vision™ stream is carried over our proprietary, secured local network to which only our authorized staff have access. When the Digital Vision™ data streams arrive at our on-site secure AI processing server bank the advanced analysis begins. The SafeSpace™ AI simultaneously scans all Digital Vision™ streams to identify subjects by extracting them from the background, then determining the location of each joint in 3D space and reconstructing and reassembling a digital representation of the figure for secure analysis. With a constructed digital figure in virtual space, the SafeSpace™ AI then feeds the digital representation into our pre-trained AI models to perform the digital figure assessment to detect the fall state. These sensors, network and servers are embedded in the infrastructure of the senior living community to continuously monitor for and accurately detect falls in our partner senior living spaces.

Medical staff and therapists securely review the Digital Vision™ fall event footage for rapid assessment and treatment.

Immediately after the fall the Digital Vision™ video is securely stored and cataloged to be privately and quickly shared and reviewed among community staff, medical staff and therapists, and added as invaluable documentation to the senior’s medical record and fall history. The video can indiciate if an visit to the ER is necessary, reducing ER-associated time, costs and associated stresses.
